Mesa has approved a development agreement for Legacy Park and Gateway Crossing, representing roughly $3 billion in planned private investment in southeast Mesa, Arizona.
Vestar Pacific Master Plan is now requesting qualifications for Legacy Park's lake and park design. The published notice sets an October 1 conference and an October 15 submission deadline. Public notice
The two developments would combine hotels, housing, restaurants, shops and offices near Mesa Gateway Airport, with a public park, pedestrian connections and transportation and utility improvements. What is planned at Legacy Park?
Vestar is developing Legacy Park with landowner Pacific Proving. Its announced plan covers approximately 200 acres near Ellsworth and Williams Field roads and includes 300,000 square feet of retail and restaurants.
