The proposed campus would cover approximately 465 acres in Hall County . QTS plans to work with area contractors and suppliers wherever possible, according to its project page .
The companies' July 13 announcement projects more than $10 billion in capital investment to the region and up to 7,000 construction jobs at peak .
Who is delivering the campus?
Lancium owns the site and will provide the civil and electrical infrastructure. Its plans include solar power and battery storage.
QTS will design, build and operate the data center buildings.
The companies say they will fund all energy infrastructure improvements required to support the campus.
Where the project stands
QTS describes the campus as proposed and in early planning. On September 23, the company also reaffirmed its promise to replace Turkey's aging water tower .
On September 21, Governor Abbott directed the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to halt permits sought by data centers pending ERCOT's audit . Confirm the approvals and schedule for your scope before committing crews or equipment.
